Premier Productions - the 10-year-old company founded by Roy Morgan and Gary Gentry is one of the top promoters of exclusively Christian concerts. The company promotes over 120 events each year. Since it began in 1996, Premier Productions has promoted a total of over 1,700 events.
The greatest thrill a few years ago was when our staff gave us a plaque that congratulated us on affecting the lives of over 1 million people in one year, Morgan said. Overall, Premier has reached more than 6 million people through Christian concerts and events in the last 10 years.
Numbers aside, the mission of the top Christian promotion company has remained the same. Our primary goal is to make a significant difference for Jesus Christ in the lives of as many people as we can through our company, Gentry said.
Premier Productions has promoted such great artists as Steven Curtis Chapman, Casting Crowns, 4HIM, NewSong, Warren Barfield, Building 429, Third Day, Matthew West, Jeremy Camp, Bethany Dillon, Geoff Moore, Bebo Norman, Caedmons Call, Jars of Clay, MercyMe, Audio Adrenaline, Pillar, Superchic(k), Kids in the Way, Sanctus Real, David Crowder Band, and too many more to name! Odds are if youve heard your favorite band on the radio, youll see them in a Premier Production concert!
No matter how many directions Premier takes or how big the entity becomes, the crux of the company is promoting concerts, Morgan said.
That is our passion and our calling, he said. We want to continue building properties such as the Winter Jam Tour and Tobymacs Winter Wonder Slam Tour. At the same time, we continually look for upcoming artists who believe in us and we believe in them.
