My Interests

"ALLAH" is the proper name of The Creator (God). This is the name He gave Himself. We know Him (and He is with us) through His attributes (The All Seer, The All Knower, The All Hearer, etc). These attributes describe how He manifests Himself to us. Allah's attributes are innumerable since human intellect cannot possibly comprehend every aspect of His Supreme Being."After the creation of Adam (the father of us all), just one original message has been repeatedly delivered to mankind throughout the history of humanity. Thus, to remind people about it and bring them back on track, many Prophets and Messengers including Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad (peace be upon them) were sent by the ONLY ONE WORTHY OF WORSHIP (ALLAH) to convey this message: "THE TRUE LORD IS ONE. WORSHIP HIM ALONE, AND KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS."Muslims believe in Allah and that which has been sent down to us and that which has been sent down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Ismail (Ishmael), Ishaque (Isaac), Yaqoob (Jacob), and to Al-Asbat (the twelve sons of Yaqoob (Jacob)), and that which has been given to Moosa (Moses) and Iesa (Jesus), and that which has been given to the Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we have submitted (in Islam)." (Quran 2:136)"The message concerning the Oneness of Allah (i.e., Tawheed in Arabic) is the essence of the Quran."To a Muslim (Believer), Allah is the Creator and Sustainer of the universe, Who is similar to nothing and nothing is comparable to Him. The "Final Messenger" sent by Allah to mankind, Muhammad ibn Abdullah (peace be upon him), was asked by his companions about Him; the answer came directly from Allah Himself in the form of the following chapter of the Qur’an: "Say: He (Allah) is One. He is the Eternal Absolute. He fathered not, nor was He fathered, and there is none like unto Him." (Qur'an 112:1-4)Islam is for All Mankind------"And this is a Book (Quran)which We have revealed bringing blessings and confirming (the revelations) which came before it: that thou mayest warn the Mother of Cities and all around her. Those who believe in the Hereafter believe in this (Quran) and they are constant in guarding their prayers". (Quran 6:92)Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), by The Quran, seeks to bring people back to the true faith that was taught by Jesus (on him be peace), and by his true disciples who continued in his teaching. That teaching emphasized a continued commitment to the first commandment that Allah (God), is One! In the Quran, Allah (God) directs mankind to call readers of the Bible and Torah back to that true faith. Allah (God) has said:"O People of the Book (Gospel and Torah)! Come to a word between us and you that we will not worship anyone besides Allah and we will not associate anything with Him and we will not take each other as lords besides Allah. So if they turn away, say: Bear witness that we are Muslims." (Quran 3:64)

Music:

Recitation of The Quran is music to my ears!"Allah, there is no other, cannot be and will never be One worthy of worship but He, the Ever Living, Self-Subsisting and All-Sustaining. Slumber overtakes Him not, nor sleep. Whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth belongs to Him. Who is there that will intercede with Him, save by His leave? He knows their future and their past; and they encompass nothing of His knowledge except of such as He pleases. His knowledge and suzerainty extends over the heavens and the earth and the care of them both tires Him not. He is The Supreme, The Great".(Quran 2:255)

MOTHER! To Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and on earth. Whether you show what is in your minds or conceal it, Allah calls you to account for it. He forgives who He pleases and punishes who He pleases. For Allah has power over all things.(Quran 2:284)
