About Me

Asalaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Baraakatu, I guess you are reading to get to know me. So let me tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Yusuf Humzah...I follow the Sunnah by way of the Salafi. I am extremely serious about my Deen, I love Allah and all the works of Muhammad (PBUH), and I am a MUSLIM FOREVER. I mean Allah has brought me a long way. I am a very intense, intelligent, hardworking, and motivated. I have goals and I have every intention of reaching and fulfilling them Insha Allah. These goals include achieving and sustaining piety in my religion of Al-Islam, marriage, a few of my own companies Insha Allah. Now, let me get deeper by letting you know where my mentality is…I am an extremely focused young man who loves to enjoy himself. I am a Second Year college student and I work. I did attend Norfolk State University, where I was studying International Business Marketing, but I found that that school wasn’t for me Alhamdulillah! So now I am back in Philly on my grind, which I love Masha Allah, I get to be around the Muslim brothers and really do what Allah wanted me to do. I am now enrolled in The Community College of Philadelphia, for the time being, Insha Allah I will be going over to the Islamic University of Madinah to study and when I come back Insha Allah I will transfer to St. Joseph's University to further my studies. I am currently employed by PNC Bank and I am working on starting my own Barber Shop as well. “But no, by your Lord, they can have no faith, until they make you (O’ Muhammad) judge in all disputes between them, and find in themselves no resistance against your decisions, and accept them with full submission” (Sura An-Nisa 4:65) and :“It is not fitting for a believer, man or woman, when a matter has been decreed by Allaah and His Messenger to have any choice in the matter. If anyone disobeys Allaah and His Messenger he is clearly astray” (Surah Al-Ahzab 33:36). .. My Interests

Muslim - Whereas a person of a sect may improperly refer to himself as a Shia, Sufi, etc., those who adhere to dawat-us-salafiyyah describe themself as a "Muslim" whose minhaj (methodology/system) is Qur'an and Sunnah and madhdhab (way) is that of the salaf. There is ample proof to say it is more than sufficient to call oneself simply a Muslim. Dawat-us-Salafiyyah (Call of those who preceeded us) According to Quran and Sunnah Dawah - literally means "call", and in this sense it refers to calling to the Truth through preaching and propagation. Salaf - literally means "those (from history) who precede, have gone before". As-Salaf as-Saalih - The people of the past, namely the first three generations of pious muslims during and after the revelation of the Qur'an, i.e.the Sahabah (companions) of the Prophet, saaws , the Taabi'een (followers) and the Taabi Taabi'een (followers of the followers).

I'd like to meet:

REFERENCE SITES http://salafimanhaj.com/ http://daruahlilathar.com/home.php http://www.bakkah.net/ http://mysite.verizon.net/ssalafiyyah/ I would like to any muslim brother or sister who loves Islam and lives by such teachings. Any Muslim who has insight on the teachings of Islam and would not mind to have some educational talks about such. Insha Allah; In addition, I would like to meet more Salafi brothers who are loyal to the deen. Masha Allah, I love to speak with my brothers and sisters in Islam, I speak to all people whatever you call yourself in Islam, I speak to you...I may not agree but we can educate on another on our beliefs that is what seeking knowledge is about! Alhamdulillah! The Prophet, saaws, said: "I am leaving you two things and you will never go astray as long as you cling to them -- they are the Book of Allah and my Sunnah." [Reported by Al- Haakim - Sahih]. Tirmidhee and Haakim - Sahih] Salafi - means "of the salaf". Using correct arabic grammar, the word "salafi" can only be used in association with words that are of that which is truly from the far past. In order to be a salaf, you had to exist generations prior to the current one. Referring to oneself as a salafi* is permissible in Islam so long as the intention is for identification with the salafi minhaj and this identification does not replace your identification as being MUSLIM, as this is what Allah swt has commanded us in The Qur'an to call ourselves. 60 ways to keep your wife's love GUARANTEED!!! And strive hard in Allâh's Cause as you ought to strive (with sincerity and with all your efforts that His Name should be superior). He has chosen you (to convey His Message of Islâmic Monotheism to mankind by inviting them to His religion, Islâm), and has not laid upon you in religion any hardship, it is the religion of your father Ibrahim (Abraham) (Islâmic Monotheism). It is He (Allâh) Who has named you Muslims both before and in this (the Qur'ân), that the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) may be a witness over you and you be witnesses over mankind! So perform AsSalât (Iqamat-as-Salât), give Zakât and hold fast to Allâh [i.e. have confidence in Allâh, and depend upon Him in all your affairs] He is your Maula (Patron, Lord, etc.), what an Excellent Maula (Patron, Lord, etc.) and what an Excellent Helper! [Surah Al-Imrân 3:78]

The ruling regarding making the sacrifice and then leaving it *Please appropriately reference this fatwa to: www.fatwa-online.com, thankyou!* Question: What is the ruling about someone who slaughters his sacrifice and then leaves it, is this rewarded or not?Response: It is upon the one who slaughters his sacrifice to make sure it reaches those who are rightfully in need and it is not permissible to slaughter it and then leave it. However, if one were to take a little from it and eat it and give it (the remainder) in charity, then this is rewarded.Shaykh Ibn 'Uthaymeen Fataawa al-Hajj wal-'Umrah waz-Ziyaarah - Page 124

Sheikh al-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah said: "It is self-delusion to say 'I am saved' and not pessimistic, for example being too secure saying 'I have the attributes of the salaf, I am saved', We still have to humble ourselves and not to say that we have the attributes of the Salaf. So I say to these people, not everybody who opposes me a thing from this path will become one of those who will perish, for verily the disputer may be a mujtahid who was wrong, and Allaah will forgive him his mistakes. Or maybe the proof did not reach him, enough to satisfy his needs (i.e. to understand it). Or maybe he has enough good deeds in which Allaah will wipe away his bad deeds." Say (O Muhammad SAW): "This is my way; I invite unto Allâh (i.e. to the Oneness of Allâh - Islâmic Monotheism) with sure knowledge, I and whosoever follows me (also must invite others to Allâh i.e to the Oneness of Allâh - Islâmic Monotheism) with sure knowledge. And Glorified and Exalted be Allâh (above all that they associate as partners with Him). And I am not of the Mushrikûn (polytheists, pagans, idolaters and disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâh; those who worship others along with Allâh or set up rivals or partners to Allâh)." [The Noble Qur'an Yusuf 12:108] The Prophet, saaws, said: "I am leaving you two things and you will never go astray as long as you cling to them -- they are the Book of Allah and my Sunnah." [Reported by Al- Haakim - Sahih]. "The best of people is my generation, then those who come after them, then those who come after them (i.e. the first three generations of Muslims)." [Reported by Bukhari and Muslim- Mutawaatir. Muslim, Narrated 'Aisha - Shaykh Al Albaanee declares it Hasan in Saheeh Al Jaami' no.3288]. "The best of people are my generation, then the second, then the third, then there will come a people, having no good in them."
