For the privilege of pissing

About Me

Playwriting, fingerpainter with a mean upper lip and a desire to draw blood. Just joking, I wish I were bad, I wish I were very bad. But alas, I can only live vicariously through my crazy neighbours, there was the heroin addict and now there's the dish throwing couple that scream profanities. Oh how I long to be neurotic. a

My Interests

Upper cuts in the bedroom but only under careful supervision. Sunday afternoon naps, being the little spoon. Watching the L-word and praying that next christmas somebody, anybody will buy me the Northern Exposrue dvds ; ( . Cruising the strip...sucking face with a bottle of vodka, my greatest and sexiest companion.

Books:

Mingus, Cheese Monkeys, Stan Brakhage cuz he's weird, Jeanette Winterson, Chuck Palahniuk. Ways of Seeing! Rar.

Birthday curses, Pussy dolls and Guns

Well well, the first May in two years that looks like it will be happy happy instead of sad sad. I declare a new proclaimation: May bliss. I'm starting a tradition. You see for years, since I was a ...

The bees are dying

Had a strange dream last night. I was talking to George Strombolopolous about the worth of university education, he was a grad student or professor and was complaining about grants and some bastard a...

Dialectics of Spring

Season change registers viscerally. Perhaps that's why we talk about the fucking weather so much. I don't think so really, it's a cover up in most cases: a lack of creativity, a lack of spirit, or a...

Pencils out

It's getting dark as it often does.  Nothing in this room to hold my attention but a Paul Klee print..  It's blue and green and black with a neon fish in the middle.  Makes me want...

Ice breaks

Checked my receipts this week, metaphorically of course. Not fun, not easy, not what I felt like doing, not what I usually feel like doing, but it was necessary. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm............

Black Death

Caught a really nasty bug off of Shannon this weekend.  REAL NASTY.  EEECK.  March has smited me, but you know I'm coping alright I suppose, through the usual vices: whining and random ...

Sadness Camp

This weekend I was sad.  Very sad.  And so I did what I've never really done before when I've felt that way, I was just sad.  My god.  This shit works.  Usually I just feel to...

It's a hollow play, but they'll clap anyway

Started something...yes I did, and I keep saying "I started something, I started something".  I've been saying that since October.  And before that someone told me "I'd lost my edge" and it ...

Don't want to work in a building downtown

Watched a film that made me want to jump up and scream "thank you jesus" in a cynical, sardonic, alienated, atheistic sort of way. The film had no religious content, of course. I just liked it. It w...
