My son Corey - "made" my my space -space for me. He filled in the answers as he saw fit....as he views me and it was both touching and ....

Anyway...yes. My son Corey - who is 17 and the sweetest boy a mother could ever ask for. Where I might have fallen short in too many areas to count - he is my perfection. I can't even begin to say how proud I am of Corey.
We sort of grew up together - I was a very immature 23 when I had him and he got the honor of watching me in all stages of the climb. I think I've done a good job. I know he's happy. Loved. Secure. He is talented, funny, sarcastic.....
Did I mention sarcastic?
Am I a proud, proud parent? Yes I am. Do I hate that he is *almost* 18 and he's *almost* out of arm's reach....
I met John in 2001 and we've been together ever since. He's very tall.
He makes me laugh. He "gets" me. I get him. He's smarter than anyone I've ever met and the IBM has done a number in beating him into submission over the past couple years - but he plows on, making huge strides in his career and making me proud. He has the entire alphabet behind his name.
I've done too many things to mention right now. Do you know it's 5:00 am?

Ok...here is more. It's a muggy July morning and the birds are singing and thunder is rolling in the not so far distance. The sun is barely up. I feel awake.Rain is hitting the window beside me and here I still am.+
+Another update: A few days ago, spring sprang into 2007 and the beauty and dynamic color around me really shook me awake and my entire body tingled.......Of course - here it is April and it's back down to 26 degrees and I've crawled back in that fucking hibernation hole......so does that mean I saw my shadow or something??
