There are accusations, there are many doors of influence, there are histories that will no longer make up our days. The idea is to start catching flies alive in our hands, instead of smackin em dead on the desk. It is something of a return, a renaissance, not of Italy, the beaten beat, or of political postures; but of beauty, patience to think and study, to reinvigorate the artistry of art as a communicative possibility rather than a money making mischief of a hobby. We can do it in our free time; we can make it our socialization. The revolution is of a humane outlook from one person to another rather than just a selfish self gain. The human has evolved and it is time to procure that process that now rests in every mind to notice each other as feeling entities rather than devices of squashing our own self doubts. The doubts are in us, as they have been, but there is nothing wrong with them. An acceptance can build the belief that there is no such thing as not good enough, no such belief as not able. A return to beauty in art can relay the vigor of youth throughout a lifetime. A return to the self can realize the self is the unimportant, that the universe of poetic and imagistic imaginations is open to all and one view is no greater. That laziness is no option, and that everyday is a lazy one; no matter how much attention has been paid. We have awoken shortly before it is day, it is not a hobby to do these things, it is not a sales pitch, it is an act of sincerity aimed towards the plough and the belief in getting by. We will plant, we will see as Charles Reznikoff has seen, the clock strikes, these are the steps of our departure. Politics, socialists, parties, brags, accusations, self discovery, towers, frogs, those that call like a cow saying noooo, nooo or a horse saying nay, nay, nay- these things are forgotten and looked over, moved on from. Image, word, music, movement, the self is secondary to these. We will howl like a wolf, erupt as amplifiers, display as LEDs, steal sides of bacon and return them. There is no place for reason, just consideration and a return to art, a return to honesty, and to honor. -Jeff Mangum
