For a long time I have been involved in organising parties. I love music, sound systems, lights, lazers, smoke machines, effects, visuals, backdrops, decorations... all the stuff that makes people's 'getting on it' experience special and exciting.

During the day I am the Business Development Manager for a freight forwarding company. I enjoy it, but shipping is not something that truly excites me!
My aim for 2008 is to utilise my party organising and business skills to start my own business. I'm not entirely sure exactly what form this will take as yet... I have thought for a while that I would like to run my own bar or nightclub...
Whatever I do I want to consolidate and encompass as much as possible that is good about popular culture and play a part in finding, developing and providing a platform for artistic endeavor. I'm interested in all forms of expression, from poetry to Drum n Bass... from comedy to abstract art... from grafitti to debating... There is a lot of brilliant stuff about but I feel much of it is diluted by the crap and often goes unnoticed.
This is the very beginning of a new and improved focus for me. My path is very vague, in fact even my next step is not entirely clear! Any thoughts, suggestions, advice, encouragement etc. will be gratefully received.
Those who have been my Myspazz friend for a while may have noticed that I've recently ditched about two thirds of my 'friends'. This is because I want to have actually interacted with the people that are affiliated to me on this site - whether through having met them, by conversing electronically, or simply through admiring their work. The friends that I now have left are the only ones that I could truly say I have connected with - so if you're one of them, thanks!
I deny most 'friend' requests that I receive because most people make no effort to connect with me, other than by asking me to be their friend! Unless I already know you or already know and admire your work start by sending me a message... then we can both decide if we want to be friends!
