Dj Marty B hails from Adelaide in South Australia and has been deejaying since the early 90's. Marty started off playing mainly Oldskool and House at private parties and the alongside gigs around town he eventually progressed through the mid 90’s to playing happy hardcore, techno and bouncin house beats.
More recently Marty was nominated for most popular breaks Dj at the last South Australian Dance Music Awards, and has also been caning the breaks on his radio slots on South Australia’s largest dance music radio station FreshFm 92.7 and also on NSB RADIO online at www.nuskoolbreaks.co.uk. Where he recently featured artists such as CUT LA ROC, AQUASKY & GROOVE DIGGERZ to name a few. You can catch him on air between 10 and Midnight on Fresh on a Sunday night, and Thursdays on NSBradio.co.uk 11 - 1 GMT ( 7.30pm loacal time )
Marty's latest gigs have included sets at Adelaides HQ & LOUNGE BAR in Melbourne for BASS CAMP playing house and 4x4 beats and breaks. HERBAL in London for the Therapy Sessions and SOCIALIZE @ Barhouse in Chelmsford ( UK ) with Cut La Roc, MJOOGOO and th Reject Beats Crew.
A highlight of 2008 locally was the FreshFM parties at HQ, also playing alongside acts such as Dopamine, The Breakfastaz and others.
Some of his main influences lately are, The Groove Diggerz, The Plump Dj's, Journey man and Barrcode, Sam Hell, The Autobots, REX, General Midi, Meat Katie, Nick Thayer, and Dopamine.
