About Me
I'm Theresa, 31 years old...just someone learning about life as I go along through it. It's taken me years to realize things aren't always about what I want in life, or how I specifically thought my life would be like. I lost my parents at a very early age; although it was a hard thing for me to go through, I don't necessary want that to make that my identity, but I do put it out there to get it out there. I still grieve their loss, but I'm more in the embracing it and moving on stage now.
I currently work for a well know auto insurance company doing the underwriting part of it. I like what I do, but I truly feel there is more out there for me to do in this world, and I think I'm about to hit the surface on that, which is both exciting and very scary at the same time, however necessary.
I also co-admin Alanis Morissettes' myspace page. It's probably one of the most amazing things to do honestly. To read some of the comments and messages she gets on a daily basis truly floors me, she truly is an amazing, talented, genuine, generous and the most down-to-earth person to come in contact with and I am very grateful to be a part of that page, and to read about all the people in this world that she touches with her songs is so very touching.

I have little cousins that I love with all my heart, that have been my joy for so many years, and who have honestly picked me up and lifted me out of some of the darkest moments of my life. I laugh constantly when around them, and I can't thank God enough for putting them in my life. They have been my life preservers for many obstacles that I have faced...
I am currently trying to lose weight. Although the battle is long, there's no giving up for me. I have lost about 40 pounds so far, and the ups, downs, and just sharing what this journey is all about is something I have to say is the most vulnerable, right out there thing I have ever done. As much as I want to hide from it some days, I know I can't. I feel it is very important for me to blog about whatever it is I am going through at that particular moment; and if I am silent for too long, come check on me cuz I may have fallen and can't get up :D :D!!!
