My name is Jo Whitby , I was born in 1983 and have been a drummer since the age of 11. I have studied under drummers Ian Matthews (now drummer for Kasabian) and Mark Cleaver (Drum Bank Music, Bristol).
I especially enjoy playing Rock and Pop, which encompasses nearly every style of contemporary music, although Im fully capable of playing Jazz, Hip Hop, Reggae, Latin the list goes on!
I performed with Triple State, Ford and Street as well as having been involved with school and community projects across the South West, played in various venues: Fleece & Firkin, Colston Hall, The Croft, Bar Room Bar, Louisiana, Bristol University and St Mary Redcliffe (Bristol), Porter Cellar (Bath) and Little Theatre (Wells). I have recorded with Triple State, Ford, St George Community School and Move On Up (New Deal For Musicians) (Poole) as well as my own material.
I've also worked with Patrick Duff and Hazel Mills.
