Hopeless romantic, or just plain hopeless?

About Me

Is it me, for a moment? So, here I am. I'm out on my own and it's at turns wonderful, lonely and stressful. It seems like, at times, things can either go kind of how you want them to, or not at all, but the important thing is to resolutely pick yourself up when you get knocked down and to learn from your mistakes. When I look back on my life, leading up to this point, I'm proud of where I am. I've made some bad decisions up until now, and for the most part, I'm done making bad decisions. I've had a habit of making and keeping bad friends, but I'm finished with that. Anger, frustration and sadness have held me in their throe as well, and I'm working through all of that. I'm no one's slave, not even my own emotions. I'm better than that, after all. This is me, in all my 'glory.' Take me or leave me, I am me. I'm tired of trying to be someone who I most certainly am not. Hillary Clinton needs to go away.

Hillary Clinton needs to shut the fuck up! I’m being serious here, people. Her ’win at any cost’ strategy is going to cost the Democrats the election, and I’m positive she know...

Why I’m Opposed to the Right-Wing Revolution

I think it goes back to being raised in the nineties, and being told about the environment, and the dangers that are facing it. Polluted skies, polluted water, global warming...etc. I was well on my w...

More musings

Coming from a barely informed position on his works, I'd have to say that Rousseau was onto something interesting when he noted on the beginnings of society. "The first man who, having fenced in a pie...
