Karen's Peals of Wisdom....As of lately I have been questioning where the last 10 years of my life have accelerated to. Perhaps if post a reward for finding those lost years, I would have my answer. I feel as if I am trying to make up for lost time, and lost oppurtunities. It seems to me that when we have the things we want, we don't want what it is that we acquired any longer. For example, when we roamed the halls of High School, we longed to be out in the world. Now we long for the sheltered bubble of safety those high school years provided despite unpleasant experiences. I guess when I say "WE", I really mean Me. Let's face it, there are no brakes in Father Time's high speed car! I am still trying to find my designated path in life with an aura of positivity, although I sometimes fall short! I've learned that the smallest occurences can make your day or break your heart, and that you should never deprive someone of hope! Music is my solace and my salvation! I kindle a passion for music, that I can only wish to someday share with another human being who can truly understand that passion. My silence is not an indication of a lack of thoughts, but rather a sign of a mind running on overdrive. When you are a truly important person in my life - you will never be left to wonder your value to me, as I keep those that I am close to very near and dear to my heart! To love me, is to truly know me!

My Interests

Karaoke, Kayaking, Marine Mammals, live and recorded music, computers, cell phones, cars, perfumes, truth seeking, and figuring out how to avoid parking tickets in this wonderful city! Besides the magical occurences in every day life....these were rather luring...

Those who not only inspire me, but whom I inspire as well. People with good hearts, strong minds, honesty,intergrity,and those that kindle a passion for life and music. So many genres, so little time...some faves - Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer, Evanescence, Lacuna Coil,Tears for Fears, Hall and Oates, Fleetwood Mac, OAR, Melissa Etherige, Kelly Clarkson, My broken up Jd Strum, Greet the Morning, and many MANY more!

Movies:

I prefer comedies and chick flicks. I don't prefer gory movies with blood and guts a la cart. I'm the girl that if sitting in a horror movie will scream out loud and bury her head into the side of her movie going companion - whether male or female.

Television:

What is that??? I've recently started watching Raising The Bar, and the new 90210.

Books:

Still attempting to read "The Power of Positive Thinking", other than that I have laid my eyes on sheet music books, and sudoku puzzle books. :-)

Heroes:

Those that have conquered the Villains!!! Those tremendous earthly people that live their lives with open hearts and open minds, with an utmost caring and compassion for all of humanity, and never ending good works and selflessness. Those people that brighten the world with their mere presence and compassionate hearts.
