Daytona Beach , Florida native and Nashville, TN resident, Jason Hardy studied voice and majored in Music Business & Management at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, which afforded him the opportunity to meet gospel legend and prolific songwriter Freda Battle . Ms. Battle became so fond of Jason Hardy and his ability that she secured him an internship at gospel label Axiom Records , where she served as president. As an intern and under Ms. Battle's close direction Hardy was privy to an invaluable Gospel music industry experience. Therefore perfecting his artist relation & promotion skill.
Jason has since appeared on a host of programs, some of his most notable being: Black Entertainment Television (BET), The Gospel Dream Showcase (Semi-Finalist), The Gospel SuperFest , Dr. Bobby Jones Urban Impact Summit , amongst others.
Currently, Jason happily maintains his status as a member of Axiom Records recording artist Freda Battle & The Temple Worshippers , in addition to serving as CEO of his Nashville based independent grassroots promotions, marketing,artist management and special events firm the J Hardy Agency , specializing in all facets of gospel/christian music and entertainment cinema, with current clientele including, Stephen Hurd (2008 Stellar Award Nominee) , Freda Battle and the Temple Worshippers , William Demps (2005 GMWA Gospel Treasure Winner) , Lance Williams and True Worship , Israel & New Breed group member Stacey Joseph , The True Worship Retreat , amongst others.
Having also sung background, toured and/or worked wi th the likes of Grammy , Tony , Soul Train , Stellar , and Dove award winning artists such as, Jennifer Holliday , Lalah Hathaway, , Israel Houghton , Witness , gospel recording artists, Clarence Powell , Bobby Perry & R.A.I.N. and Black Entertainment Television's (BET)Sunday morning syndicated program "Lift Every Voice" as a production assistant working alongside television host Gerard Henry and Senior Manager Carla Reed .
As a rising "1-2 PUNCH" , Singer/Songwriter/Business Owner Jason Hardy is surely destined to be a major force and is becoming a "WHO'S WHO" in the gospel music and mainstream entertainment industry himself.
