Turn Olympus to Atlantis

About Me

Living for moments. I dig illustration, typically in pen and ink. I tell simple stories in single frame moments, like photographs but without the reality. I like to capture awkwardness for its truth and beauty. I dream of escape but stop to question why I do. I love sushi. I say too much. I get a lot more out of your laughter then you do. I live my life through these hands; the wheels for my craft, my expression, my communication and my resolution. I'm working on a graphic novel with a good friend. It's going to be awesome. Hope you find something you like.

Recently played: Week's highlights:

My Interests

Graphite, ink, Music, words and images. Drawing, Hiding, Drawing, Shortcuts, Drawing, Going to shows. Laughter. Drinking in the afternoon sun. Stalking bands. Drinking tea after a big night out. Old school Sega. Kicking it with the people that matter to me. Tidbits. Stretching my brain out with quasi-philosophical methods of representing time and image, while drunk. Arguing purpose, Stretching and cracking my back. Dancing like an idiot, mouthing the words like I know them.

I'd like to meet:

Aspiring illustrators. People who's ideas speak beyond words and pictures. People to party with. Someone who kicks arse and doesn't know it already. Original and interesting people. The tragically romantic and the romantically tragic.

70s show. Spicks and specks. Wilfred. South Park. Northern Exposure (fuck you) Documenataries on twin cubs and/or the pyramids. both versions of the office. Extras. Family guy, Wonder Showzen, Colbert Report and Daily Show are all shows that should be on TV over here, but aren't. Shit ads featuring Hat head or oversized chewing gum. The chaser's war on everything. Old school MTV cartoons like the Maxx and Robin and friends. Oh and Iron Chef. Amazing.
