Through several incarnations over the last few years, the true essence of TIM the band, was found with the current three-man line up of brothers Tim (lead vocalist & guitar) and Matter Bader (bass) along with Leslie Van Trease (drums). Together it this form since 2003, TIM has performed countless gigs on the Los Angeles circuit including apperances at The House of Blues & The Viper Room. Although based in LA, both Tim and Matt had made their separate ways out to LA from Philadelphia, back in the 90's while Les moved out west from Mobile, Alabama.
TIM's timeline of events includes many opening slots for bands such as; Matchbox Twenty, No Doubt, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Howie Day, and 311, and recentally came back form being on a nationwide tour with Cake and Gomez.
Drawing from the member's diverse individual backgrounds of musical tast, their album "Misspelled Marquee" is a fine collection of heartfelt lyrics rooted in American guitar rock. Tim has a unique gift to deliver these strightforward lyrics, while his hooky guitar tells the other half of the story. Matt anchors one song after the next with driving bass lines and, Les plays with an explosiveness that belies his easy-going Southern manner.
