Oh yes, I could sod on for a good few paragraphs about how much I hate sluts and twofaced people. I could then proceed to paste in a few surveys I’ve done, so that you might see if I prefer Chocolate or Coffee, where my hometown is and who the last person to hug me was. And, not to break tradition, I would then post some hideously sexual MSN id, and give all and sundry the ultimatum of ‘Add me plz’.
But really…all that can get a little boring methinks.
Hmm.
Fuck.
I mean ‘Darn’.
I can’t actually think of anything else to put here except:
Surveys (Coffee, Devonport, Alexy),
My feelings towards sluts (Who am I to judge?)
And my MSN addy; [email protected]
Well, with that nastiness out of the way I can begin in proper. My mind, like most peoples, doesn’t work in straight lines. It jumps all over the place *makes a explosive gesture* and is always trying to combine ideas and memories. Despite this, your brain likes patterns. And as your brain likes patterns, the world around us takes on patterns, of a kind. We see stories in random events, find sequence in the movements of planets and generally try to figure out where something will be in the future (simply because we can) instead of focusing on where it is NOW.
Everyone’s seen the Yin-Yang symbol. Everyone knows that it means that within everything, there’s a little piece of it’s opposite. Within death, there’s life, within a hole there’s a pile (?) and the like. But how often do you really think about it, or consider its truth? The current trend is to believe in maths (how true that is, I shan’t say) and so I shall liken this to maths. According to our scientists, the cosmos and everything in it is comprised of atoms and their little particles. Everything is ultimately made by these little particles. So, on the tiniest levels, everything is made of the same thing. The stars are made of the same basic matter as a digestive biscuit. The peaceful forest glade is no different to the middle of a highway. It’s just a matter of achieving the right mindset. Know that nothing can be destroyed, and nothing created. Things can only be….rearranged. Manipulated, even.
On the subject of the yin-yang relationship, let me speak of good and evil. Two odd concepts, and rather different then we are led to believe. Evil is essentially a lust for the unknown, and this generally degenerates into the lust for power. Good is the preservation of what is already in the light. And by preserving the light, it grows brighter and eventually illuminates the unknown anyway. When you are dealing in good and evil, it is the intent behind an action which decides its karmic positioning. To kill someone is neither good nor bad, just as it is neither good nor bad to help a stranger. It is the reason; WHY you do it. If you kill someone with no bloodlust or personal reason, simply to help others than it is ultimately good. If you do it for pleasure, or for some personal reason it is most definitely NOT good. It applies to the second example as well; you can help out of simple generosity, and a desire to help others. Or, you can help someone so you can claim a favour or blackmail them someday. It’s complex, and the intent is always somewhere between completely good or evil.
And remember; when it gets down to it, it’s just words.
Only you can tell what you are doing, and why you are doing it.
Judge thine self, child.
