Breakthrough began as an act of faith. Dee Brown, an implant to New Mexico (By way of OKC), recognized that the gifts and talents that God has given to so many in the southwest have been lying dormant. He knew that God had a plan but he couldn’t do it on his own. Before they had the name Breakthrough they were just a group of friends, family members, and acquaintances meeting together to lift up the name of Jesus together. They had no engagements on the calendar; no name recognition, no sponsorship or funding, and no idea what would come out of it. They just had a desire to finally act on the calling of ministry that the Lord had given to each of them. By the grace of God Dee Brown and Breakthrough will begin recording their first studio album in September of 2007. They will be traveling beginning in the US to every place that the Lord will lead them to encourage believers and to give God the praise, glory, and honor that He deserves.
