About Me
While the headline isn't optimistic, I still am, if you can believe it.
I love:
movies/tv (went to school for it for a bit),
down-to-earth people,
photography,
learing (without the school),
politics,
world affairs,
meeting new people,
opening my eyes to the world (outside of the box I live in),
traveling, the history and discovery channel, laughing until I can't breathe and
love.Right now, my mantra is this, yes, it's been over-used but rings true to me to this day:---
"As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to
never let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken probably
more than once and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so
remember how it felt when yours was broken. You'll fight with your best
friend. You'll blame a new love for things an old one did. You'll cry
because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you
love. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never
been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of
happiness you'll never get back."---It's hard to find someone in this crazy, mixed-up world. It's even harder to try and see eye-to-eye. I think we try, sometimes we fail, but in the end it makes us who we are.Without being too sappy, I'm a fun loving guy. I try to do what's right and what will make the world a better place. At the same time, I hate children. So who am I making it a better place for?
I adore honesty, modesty and compassion for all things. It's the Buddhist in me. (I was raised that way, not some bullshit LA wannabe) I'm a work in progress and you better be ok with it.
Also, I enjoy clean sheets.
