Visual Artist

About Me

I am a visual artist who is inspired by nature, the environment, foods such as spices, colours, textures and personal journeys. I graduated a few years ago from Birmingham Institute of Art and Design (UK) with BA (Hons) in Constructed Textiles Design. Since then I have continued my visual art work as displayed on myspace. I also work in theatre and carnival arts as a designer and maker. The other work that I do includes facilitating visual arts workshops with arts organisations, community and school groups and managing arts projects. I also design and make handcrafted greeting cards and recently got into jewellery making using glass beads.
