Anyone really, I'm an equal opportunity offender.
I love rock music. Anything from the 50's on up to some current stuff. My favorite though is 80's metal. What can I say, I'm a product of the generation. Favorite band is Queensryche. I've recently really gotten into a band called The Darkness. These guys are excellent. They are on a mission to bring back the metal of the 80's and I'm with them all the way on this. Check them out at www.thedarknessrock.com or here at myspace. I also dig Rush, Kiss, Metallica, Queen, Iron Maiden, and quite a few others. Also been getting into Dream Theater a bit lately as well. I'm not a big fan of speed metal, but if you get a chance, check out a band called Cellador. These guys are freaking amazing. And last but certainly not least, check me out every saturday at www.nvasionradio.com for the Faulk You! Show. A good time to be had by all...unless you like Rap, Country or Polkas that is. Well, you MIGHT hear a polka tune, but no way in HELL am I playing rap or country. Hehe.
Sci-fi, action adventure, comedy...thats about all I care to see when it comes to movies. Major fan of the Star Wars movies.
Right now I've really gotten into this new Battlestar Galactica series on Sci-Fi. It's really well done. Check it out sometime. Also watch Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis and Firefly. If it's friday night, I'm usually watching the SciFi channel. I'm nerdy like that. Oh, and Heroes...just an all around great show!
Star Wars Expanded Universe novels, Stephen King, Tom Clancy, Patrick Robinson, Vince Flynn, Brad Thor and a few others. I'm mostly into fiction novels, although the occasional non-fiction book isn't too bad. Just recently I've really gotten into reading a guy named Ted Bell. If you like Clancy, Patrick Robinson or Vince Flynn, pick up Hawke, Assassin and Pirate by Bell in that order. Good stuff.
Well, I have to get serious for a moment here. I'd say I have 2 heroes in my life. The one who has been there the longest is one of my best friends, Colby. He was born with Spina Bifida and has spent most of his life in a wheelchair. Despite this he doesn't let himself get down about it and he doesn't like being treated any differently than anyone else. He stays positive most of the time, which is something most people wouldn't be able to handle in his situation I don't think. The other one, and in my opinion I saved the best for last here (sorry Colb). My son Trey. He's my pride and joy, and the best thing thats ever happend to me in my entire life (his mom is second). He's a great kid and I couldn't love anyone anymore than I do him. His coming along saved me from doing a lot of dumb things in this life.
