LIKKLE T

LIKKLE.T thats pure energy, Reggae, Soul and RnB!LIKKLE.T (likkle [likl] translation for little) found his spiritual affinity to Reggae during several trips to the Carribean. There he learnt patois, learnt the Groove and he discovered the Reggae feeling. In 1999 he becomes a member of the BassTone Soundsystem from Heidelberg/ Germany. With this Soundsystem he organizes Dancehall-Parties for nearly 1000 people every month, where he captivates the crowd as a singer and DJ. You find international guest acts on the line up such as Black Chiney (Florida/ Top US Sound), Demolitian Man (UK), David Rodigan (UK) or Cutty Ranks (Jamaica) but also PowPow Movement or Sentinel from Germany. Through this LIKKLE.T built up his name in the Reggae scene, he captivates the people on several festivals (ex: in 2003 and 2004 at Summerjam festival in Cologne) and he wins the "Reggae Superstar award in 2003. Twice you could hear him on the sampler of RIDDIM magazine - in 2003 with his single we chant and in 2005 with the Superior One Riddim mix together with the famous Reggae artists Gentleman and Sizzla. In 2005 the 7 inch Riddim Selection Superior with Sizzla and LIKKLE.T was released worldwide!At the German band contest Mannheim Music Award 2005 LIKKLE.T won the sympathy of the audience but he also convinced the jury as Newcomer 2005.You can hear easily that LIKKLE.Ts music and its themes are more than nice Reggae feeling. The best example is the single debut of the 23 years old singer from Mannheim. Days of rain was also remixed by the famous producer team Beathoavenz from Berlin (Gentleman/ Sido). His 7 inch hotta summa was played in the clubs all summer because you just can`t escape this energy! In 2003 he starts working together with producer Tobias Bublat/ Berlin who also worked with the successful German artists Xavier Naidoo, Laith Al Deen or De Phazz. Together with Tobias LIKKLE.T found his own, unique style that is connected with Reggae but it`s also influenced by Soul and RnB.
