There's more to the box than just the packaging. Most people are afraid to open the box, though.

About Me

A friend recently said to me:
Life is like an extra long version of the 110m High Hurdles....U always get faced with obstacles which look daunting, but they are only hurdles, some u will clear easily some u may hit, but its a learning curve for next time, even if you fall you can pick yourself back up an keep going. Not 1 of them hurdles is the end, not 1 of them is impossible. (Dave)

That's a good way of looking at life...

Equally important:
The road to success has many tempting parking places.(Unknown)

You Are Impressionism
You think the world is quite beautiful, especially if you look at it in new and interesting ways.
You tend to focus on color and movement in art.
For you, seeing the big picture is much more important than recording every little detail.
You can find inspiration anywhere... especially from nature. What Art Movement Are You?

My Interests

Sports in the widest sense. Mostly though athletics (NCAA and UK Unis - Go Stirling Uni !!) and cycling (and no! I do not like Lance Armstrong), Movies, Travelling, Books, Juggling (sometimes with fire), ...

Music:

At some point I claimed that I did not like dance music... but then I found out that it's pretty good to work out to (at least some of it)... other than that I'm sort of mainstream from the 50s to today... Currently on my playlist: Aberfeldy , The Hussy's , Moby, Coldplay, The Kooks, Faithless, Steve Porter , Wir sind Helden, Jason Mraz, Fall Out Boy, GnR, The Zutons, Black Eyed Peas, Counting Crows, plus those artists who are on my friendlist and have music for download. Check them out...

Movies:

Don't get me started... too many... but generally I can say I like James Bond and Star Wars, John Cusack and Ben Stiller, Drew Barrymore and Reese Witherspoon. Oh, and did I mention "Harry and Sally"!
..

Television:

Yes, I own one and watch way too often... current favourites: House (gotta love the grumpy man), Prison Break (don't like the story, but boy does the man have gorgeous eyes, besides is he ever going to get together with that doctor?)

Books:

Paulo Coelho is on top of my bookshelf (very inspirational), Dan Brown (ok, DVC and A&D, the others I thought were only lower middle class)
I try to read from a wide field, but would generally fancy either inspirational, up-beat happy-go-lucky story or a good thriller... can't be bothered with books that bring me down. The world is bad enough.

Heroes:

The person who's gonna repair my bicycle.
