Accoustic Honest Song Writing

About Me

Cruickaz is Paul Cruickshank. Born in Australia currently living and working in the UK. He has traveled Europe with many bands and in his own right singing and playing his honest and heart felt songs. Cruickaz plays a Lakewood accoustic guitar and various pieces of percussion from all over the world.
The first EP Free pt1 was a collection of very personal songs by Cruickaz dealing with everyday issues from life. He travelled and performed off the back of this CD and had reasonable sucess with sales.
However since this time Cruickaz has been quiet on the music scene. He is currently going through what he discribes as a barron period. Often picking up his guitar to play he finds that he does not have the passion or the hunger to just play at this time. When he goes to put pen to paper and work on ideas that have been there for some period he just draws a blank and finds that he is just putting cheap rhyms on the page.
It is hoped that with the new year there will be a new wave of insperation and we will see some fresh material from Cruickaz this year.
