I love spending time with family and friends. I love most sports except golf and tennis. My favorite is NASCAR Racing and of course my favorite driver is Dale Jr. I love to be outdoors and would take a hot day over a cold one any day. I love to be near the water....I grew up with water everywhere so have always enjoyed being out on a boat somewhere. I love to watch the rain come down and love the smell just before it starts. Silly I know but I love it. I miss hearing and seeing the kind of lighting and thunder that shakes the windows of your house....where I grew up, it does that. I love thunderstorms as long as they are not severe. I love hearing children laugh....you can't help but smile when you hear them....they have a laugh that would brighten any situation. I know I am kind of jumping around but I am writing what comes in my thoughts.

I have been thinking about music I have loved through the years....."The Tin Man"....reminds me of George Dearborne singing this song at Cutter's. "I Just Wanted You to Know"....remember listening to that at Holly Beach,LA.....love this song!!! "Please Come to Boston"....I love this song too but wish I had Zona's version of this song...we who have watched and enjoyed his music for years know what I am talking about....I am ready for his new CD to come out....Clay Walker....love his version of "Holding her and Loving You"....Tried to find something for Britt....there were so many song for you....I think I loved Ol' Violin and Nightlife best from you..but I think any Buck Owens, Willie or George Jones song is good for you..I will have to find them....just remembering back home!!!
I like all kinds of music. I love to listen to live bands and smaller concerts. I love to be at festivals hearing them. Growing up we would go out to the Island and enjoy being outdoors with the wind coming up from the Gulf and listening to Wayne Toups or Sammy Kershaw and many more.....or to be at some hole in the wall on the beach (TX or LA). I love Cajun music since I grew up along the TX/LA border....who wouldn't. I love to hear the guys from back home...Zona, Britt, Carey, Mark, Tracy and Clay. Britt, if you read this I still have a demo tape you gave to me years ago. I use to love spending my evenings listening to you(live at Cutter's). Those where the days!!! I also love to hear the music of my heritage. It is always so full of emotions. I love to listen to classical and jazz music also. I think that I can appreciate all kinds of music.
.. I love the sappy girl movies but can enjoy most except horror movies. I stay away from scary movies.....
Don't watch too much of this. Love to watch American Idol or Grey's. I do watch the races though....yes from start to finish. I have heard it over and over there is no excitement watching them go in circles for three hours but if you are a fan you know it is more than that. If you have never gone to a race.....do it at least once....when they come to the green it is such a rush.
.. Ok, books...I read a lot on the web and read articles on children. I read a lot of self help stuff and things pertaining to my job. The Bible, of course. My favorite authors are John Grisham, Nicholas Sparks, Joel Osteen, Gay Hendricks and am currently reading Eckhart Tolle's "A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life's Purpose" good so far.
.. All of those who risk their lives for our safety here and abroad. Not only military but also any of those in law enforcement. I also think that those in my family are my heroes. We have endured many losses and have ongoing hardships and still they stay strong. They never complain just do what they have to do. I think that is where I have learn to be so strong. No matter what happens we don't fall apart we just keep believing in faith that better days are ahead.
