I am married to a wonderful man named Dave. We have 2 children Sean (14) and Adam (6). We just love those boys. We have been blessed with these children, our miracles, given to us by God. He takes all the credit and we are honored to be given the opportunity to raise them as part of His marvelous plan for their lives. My husband too was a gift from God. I will share more about Dave in my blogs. HE WAS AN ANSWER TO PRAYER! He is a humble, God fearing man who's gentle nature brings so much balance to my life. I am a blessed woman. Most of you know that I love to sing. I've been singing in front of an audience since the age of 6. All through school I sang in the choir, got some good training and encouragement, and even managed to win some singing awards, including some at state finals. I learned to play guitar and on the weekends me and some friends one of them being my brother Ray would hang out and play music for hours. I knew I wanted to be a rock star. I just loved it. Music moves me. I can't help but respond to it's beat by dancing to it or just singing along. Music makes me happy. I'm a sucker for all types of rock music as well. I was in various rock bands from age 19-28. Loved every minute of it. This experience is part of my testimony. Ann Wilson from Heart taught me to belt it out. Pat Benatar taught me to sing with more passion & emotion. There are no regrets, it's who I was before I met Christ and starting singing for Him. I bring this experience to my praise & worship and hold nothing back. Thank God there is a variety of "awesome" christian music to choose from or I would have had a hard time tuning in. I mostly enjoy christian praise & worship and of course christian rock. I have had the privilege and honor to lead praise and worship at various churches. I will forever be grateful to Faith Assembly in Pasadena for giving me the opportunity to learn this gift from God and for being patient with me and nurturing me all at the same time. Thanks Pastor Johnny for believing in me and for your encouragement! Then there was the "Faith Chicks". Man I just loved our chick worship band. My Sister Rosie, myself and Tracy Brown combined our talents and worked diligently to lead praise & worship. Our vocals worked very well together and we had a great time ushering in the presence of the Lord. I am very proud of this awesome effort. I have been blessed to worship with the best musicians and have made some BFF's as a bonus. God is good! And last but not least to Pastor John McGovern who believes in me more than I believe in myself. With God's leading you breathe life into my spirit and bring water to my soul. There is no pretending with you, you keep things real. To God be the glory!!!!
