About Me

The Sami Sisters - "Tonight you belong to me"sunday afternoon at the kings arms tavern, newton
Anji and her family sang lots while doing dishes and things. At primary school she discovered she really did like singing (and writing stories about dragons and potions). Her favourite songs to sing (age 9) were 'Take me home, Country Roads,' 'minoi minoi minoi' and the theme song from 'An American tale' - 'somewhere out there.' The first concert she went to (the one that REALLY counted) was New Kids on the Block. She wore her denim shorts and an apricot blouse and had a chocolate zap.
Since primary school though she's done a few things. Among her favourites were singing bv's with David Kilgour and the Heavy Eights. Going on tour and fighting them. Being teased by and teasing them. Princes Street. Rad One Posse. Fan Kao. Refuel bagels. Arcoustic with Rory. Kmart with Haunted Love. Having old Arc Cafe as a local. Playing with awesome musicians like John, Rob and Anders and Ashley. And heapss more.
Out for the Weekend video
