Ayhem....you are in my thoughts.
I listen to anything and everything. R&B is my favorite. i'm very soulfull with music. if the music makes me dance, sing, and relate to anything in my life ..its my kind of music. i'm also big on lyrics. songs say it best when you cant articulate what you're feeling. ..especially through heartbreak. music is therapeutic and yet toxic. i can lose myself dancing to a killer beat or drown my sorrows through the words of a sad song. either way, music is very important to me. its the soundtrack to my life. whats on heavy rotation in linda's cd player? Amy Winehouse, Mika, Norah Jones, Al Green, Marvin Gaye,Maroon 5, Sade, Imogen Heap, Justin Timberlake, Leslie Feist

MY PARENTS! ...like many other vietnamese people, my parents escaped vietnam in hopes of a better life for thier loved ones. with only a fifty fifty chance of survival and empty palms, they said what was to be an unsure last goodbye to thier family's and the life they once new. they set sail towards hong kong to be rescued by the united nations stationed there. the boat was filled with 28 people including my parents and brother... i was 8 months in my moms womb. and with all these people, a scarce amount of food and only a sail boat, they embarked on a journey that would take them a month. ...theres more to the journey but that's a whole nother story on its own. .... so anyway, they arived in hongkong. then they endured the hardships of refugee camp. the wait to be sponsored depended on each family. some familys got sponsored within months..some took years. mine took 3 years. oh yeah! i was born a month later apon arrival. we then got sponsored to canada. and whala! here i am writing to you. and the rest has yet to begun.... maybe one day i'll write in detail about what my parents went through to get to where they are today. ...coming to a new country with nothing but their will and drive for a better life. thats what keeps me going at the end of a bad day. mom and dad. i love you!
