System Overload

About Me

System Overload came together in the Spring of 2003. Each member shared the vision of creating their own unique brand of Rock music combining each members influences ranging from 80's icon Ozzy Osbourne to today's new wave of American heavy metal Killswitch Engage.
System Overload's sound incorporates melodic vocals pierced with screeching screams backed by howling guitar solos and crunchy riffs.
In their short 3 year existance, System Overload has stormed onto the Texas rock scene selling out clubs in Dallas/Ft. Worth Texas and playing all over the state. In this short amount of time the band has opened for a diverse group of national rock acts ranging from Hardcore metal acts such as Dry Kill Logic, Six Feet Under, Full Blown Chaos, Psychostick, Rikets, & Ankla to more melodic acts such as Nonpoint, Switched, Allele, Silent Civilian, Five Bolt Main, & Element 80.
System Overload released their first EP "From the Shadows" in the summer of 2005 to rave reviews.
With a new album entitled "Turn the Hourglass" set to be released April 14th, a plaque on the nationally renowned Curtain Club Wall of Fame, a spot in the March issue of Substream Magazine, the new single "Subside" receiving aiplay on 102.1 the Edge, and tour of Texas and surrounding states kicking off in June in support of the new cd, the future looks bright for this young Texas band out to do nothing more than share their unique brand of rock music with the masses.
