*~Diana Film Director~*

I will NEVER cease to AMAZE you!

About Me

My ambition in life is to change the world through the entertainment industry. I am a documentary filmmaker, writer, editor, and actress. I am a student at one of the best film schools in the world and aspire to become a feature film director and director of photography. I am the owner and president of my film and video production company, Visual Inspiration LLC.
I have always been very motivated and determined to succeed in the entertainment industry. Making my first film at the age of four, I was born with a passion for filmmaking. At the age of 15 I produced, directed, edited, wrote, cast, and starred in my own television soap opera series, “Diva Star,” which aired on local cable television in Dallas, Texas. As an anchor and reporter for KGLE 3 Teen News, I won several state, national, and international honors and awards for my work. I am currently working on "The Panamerican Dream," a documentary about immigration I shot while studying abroad in the Republic of Panama. I also reshot and am expanding my internationally award winning short documentary, "Keepers of Light," about two high school fire-performers attempting to break into the world of fire-blowing.
The key influence in all of my work is to leave the audience with a thought. Through my involvement in film, I have been able to learn more about the world than the average teenager. Viewing the world from behind a camera lens has shaped my values and contributed to my growth as a person.
People are my greatest passion. As a film director, my vision is to better society by using inspiring films to make a positive change in the world. My attitude helps me to succeed. I eagerly overcome obstacles and never take “no” for an answer. If told that my dream is impossible, my passion further drives me to accomplish my goal!
My role model is Jesus and I try to live out my life in his image every day. I try. Of course I am a sinner, we all are, and we will always be ... but nevertheless we must try to live a life free from sin - we must have faith that the impossible is possible. Life is a battle with ourselves, and with our sins ... and this struggle is what leads us all to become more holy.
Some people say I'm naive... some say that I'm too idealistic. But I say, I believe in the impossible and I'll never change!

My Interests

I have many passions in life. I love serving God, I love my family. I love making people smile. I love dancing. I love painting. I love the arts. I love math and science. I love learning. I love meeting new people, learning about their viewpoints, and gaining understanding. I love to keep an open and tolerant mind. I love traveling, seeing other cultures and learning foreign languages. I love sunsets and sunrises. I love rain. I love nature. I love the stars. I love this world... and I love my life.
As a filmmaker, actress, public speaker, dancer, artist, and person, I try to share this love with the world.
Since I can remember, I was always painting and drawing. Above are some examples of my artwork. However, I have not done any new work in the past 2 years due to lack of time. I want to get back into it after I'm done with school.
I love dancing! It is one of my greatest loves in life. I did ballet for over 10 years, and some tap, hip hop, and musical theatre. Recently, I have been learning Salsa. I totally fallen in love with it! I hope to become a good salsera in the future and perform.
"We also boast in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not disappoint us, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us." - Romans 4.03 - 4.05

I'd like to meet:

TALENTED, MOTIVATED, and DETERMINED people. Young successful people inspire me. Passionate people with strong ideals also inspire me. I am a very open person and I love meeting people from various religious and ethnic backgrounds. I enjoy learning about different cultures and becoming a more knowlegable and open person.
"Don't wish it was easier, wish you were better. Don't wish for less problems, wish for more skills. Don't wish for less challenges, wish for more wisdom." -Jim Rohn
"If you have faith...nothing will be impossible for you." - Matthew 17:20
"In Him who is the source of my strength, I have strength for everything." - Philippians 4:13

Movies:

I like films that are different both visually and in narrative structure. I like many independant and European films. I like films that challenge the norm.

Television:

Books are better. But I won't tell you which ones are the best, because then you'll steal my movie ideas... well... except for the Bible. I can give that book away. Tons of great stories in there for potential films. We need more Christain filmmakers in this world!

Books:

The Holy Bible.

Heroes:

Jesus Christ, Ghandi, Pope John Paul II, Saint Paul, my parents.
