Sub Luna

From the northern spheres of Eskilstuna, Sweden, emerges the new rising duo Sub Luna. Their debut album In the Shade of time is an excursion into melancholy, exploring themes of nostalgia, love, and the change of perspective that comes with the passage of time. Though relying heavily on acoustic guitars, Sub Luna also incorporates the use of strings, tremolo and even slide guitar, which at times move their brand of dark folk into lounge/pop territory. As a curiosity, the first edition of In the Shade of time comes with a bonus disc of early Sub Luna material.
