Dementia Absurda is an (ambiental) noise project from Croatia. It was started in 2007 by Dementia in a deep Panonian Sludge, and soon Absurdus joined her. DA can be simply described as a sound of nothingness, and it is influented by the absurd of life, by the mistery of life & death, and by the writings of John Milton, William Blake, Leonid Andrejev, Eugene Ionesco, Franz Kafka, H. P. Lovecraft... The first demo contains sound... Wait, can you hear it?! The sound of Nothingness...
The point of our music is to describe nothingness, to laugh at our pathetic lives which are trying to be serious but they are just comic, trying to capture sound in it's pure form and adopt it to ourselves, to be cynic, to capture the night, the rust, to create a new silence....
