Eternal Darkness was formed in Eskilstuna, Sweden 1990 by Make Pesonen and Rokki Toni. The other death metal maniacs who joined were Janne Heikkinen, Tero Viljanen, Jonas Strandell.
The band recorded two demo cassettes titled Ceremony Of Doom and Suffering which were both self financed recordings that were sold in death metal underground scene. The group was hailed as pure old school death/doom metal with a instant feel of devastation and loss. Eternal Darkness went to be a cult act.

Janne, Tero, Jarmo, Make decide to take a break until a new guitarist was found. 1994 Jonas Strandell is back with demand and Eternal Darkness was about to start rehearsing again.
