About Me

I love my husband, roller coasters, warm weather (not too hot - not too cold), people who make me laugh and inspire me to be the best version of myself (you know who you are - THANK YOU again for being so wonderful to me) drummers, bunnies, and off-color greeting cards. I like it when the leaves change color but not when they fall, it looks messy. I prefer people/relationships over activities or places any day. I'm super clumsy and accident prone (will I ever outgrow tripping up stairs?) My dreams are strange and rarely make sense to even me, I love wearing flip-flops most of the year and double soy lattes. I've been told I have man hands, do I really? I'm hooked on text messaging, frequently change my hair color, love kids that speak their mind, blowing bubbles, and swinging on the swings. I've also recently taken up knitting and thinking about learning how to sew. I've also been really into learning about natural products, whole foods and supplements. A few favs: Grande Soy Lattes, my Sugar Mary Jane shoes, ferry rides to Seattle, down comforters, hand-made scarf's, my MacBook Pro, iPhone, bubble baths, hangin' out with my little brother. Chocolate covered Almonds, Jeannie's coconut macaroons, and of course, shrimp cocktail and morning star corn dogs, and other amazing dishes. I love having inside jokes with my close friends, tulips are my fav, and I love scoring amazing free stuff. I have glasses and forget to wear them on a regular basis, oops. I love my sponsor child, David (my father's name) from Uganda, he's 6 and so adorable. I love getting letters and drawings from him. What a blessing our relationship is to me. I love anything Latin, Caribbean or African, I feel God has placed those areas of the world on my heart and would love to travel and be more hands on involved once again with orphans in those places. - Birthday, May 13th This layout was handmade with love by the folks at My space or yours? I'd like to meet:

people who are unique, inspiring, quirky, who demand excellence and truth out of me... I love it when I walk away from spending time with a friend and feel as if I'm being called to a higher standard of living, not out of duty but out of desire... Bono but most of all my Grandma Ellen my middle name sake, Lou Ellen. She died before I was born, but apparently I'm very much like her in my quirky mannerisms and my smile. My mom tells me she was really eccentric, daring and bohemian. Praise God she knew Jesus, so I'll meet her someday.
