I am here for Friends

About Me

I am a fortysomething male who lives in Germantown, Tennessee. In addition to this page which revolves around my life and the difference that Jesus Christ made in me, I also maintain two other MySpace pages called THE BUZZ and Arise Radio. THE BUZZ is 100% devoted to Christian music and videos. I invite you to visit THE BUZZ which you can find by clicking on the picture of the bee in my list of friends below or at this Internet address: myspace.com/buzzforchrist. Arise Radio is devoted to the music and ministry of the Christian radio station I designed on Live365. Arise Radio plays all kinds of inspirational songs from all kinds of artists. You can hear Arise Radio's broadcasts on Live365 at live365.com/stations/brucbuzz. Arise Radio's MySpace page can be found at myspace.com/ariselive365. I am currently involved in helping a lay ministry which goes around to different churches to help them establish and maintain church libraries. In the video below, I introduce myself and discuss my personal relationship with Jesus Christ. As you will tell from this video, I am a Son of the South with an accent. I am most certainly from LA---Lower Alabama.BRUCE SAYS HELLO
In the video below, you will see my teen crush, Emmylou Harris, perform an inspirational song with Johnny Cash and Marty Stuart. Thanks to my Emmylou crush, I changed my musical tastes from favoring disco to favoring country and bluegrass. I no longer have the crush on Emmylou Harris, but I still respect her as one of the greatest singers and songwriters of all time.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I am interested in getting acquainted with anybody who wants to engage in serious and meaningful discussions about popular culture, politics, religion or any subject. One person I had many opportunities to meet was my childhood pastor, Dr. Fred Wolfe. In the 70s and 80s, Dr. Wolfe was the pastor of the Cottage Hill Baptist Church in Mobile, Alabama. I took my baby steps as a Christian at Cottage Hill Baptist. Even though I am now active in a Methodist church in Germantown, Tennessee, I still greatly respect the ministry of Fred Wolfe. In the video below, you will see a brief clip of Dr. Wolfe as he spoke at a Maximum Man Conference. As noted above, Dr. Wolfe was speaking at a Maximum Man Conference. In the video below, A. D. Sandford, a former pro fisherman, talks about the impact that one of these conferences had on his life. Sandford was not a Christian before he attended one of these conferences. However, a friend "pestered" him to attend. This friend was praying for Sandford and was standing in the gap for him. We should all seek to help lead others to Jesus and be willing to stand in the gap for our friends. I hope that I can help make a positive difference with each person I meet. One of the great things about MySpace is that I get to meet people all over the world and don't have to leave my home in Tennessee. When two Christians meet, an immediate bond forms between them regardless of their physical location or the number of miles that may separate them. One person I have had the pleasure of meeting online here on MySpace is Letty. Letty currently lives in the New York City area, but this Son of the South does not hold it against her. Letty will soon leave the New York area, and I wish her the best with her move. In the video below, Letty gives her testimony. She describes her life before she became a Christian. Letty describes the difference Christ made in her life. Christ can turn around any person's life for the better. Christ can turn your life around for the better. If you are ever on Facebook, then I hope to meet you there. Please click on the badge below, and you will be directly linked to my Facebook page.
