So I am supposed to be telling you about myself eh? Well I suppose that I could tell you a little bit. I’ll start off by introducing myself. My name is Alysia, most people call me Ali. I was born on the 21st of October, 1988.I am 18 years old. I am currently living in Pierrefonds Quebec but I am from Belleville Ontario. I attend Vanier College in the social science Program (Child Studies). Within the next year and a half, I plan on going to University (McGill University, in Montreal or Queens University in Kingston, Ontario.) In University I haven’t quite decided on what I want to go into just yet. I’m planning on going into Education (Primary school) and becoming a elementary school teacher or going into Sociology, where I will receive a major in that but then minor in Education. Not quite sure..all I do know is that I want to work with Students.
Now, before diving in a little deeper, don’t judge me. I hate people who think that they are so much better then others and that they “run†the show. I am my own person and if you don’t like it, well that’s your problem. I don’t care, get over it? I hate people who say, “I know youâ€. Really, you don’t know me. Me, I change every day. When you can start reading my mind, without any type of eye contact or my presence in the room, then say you know me. Until then, don’t. How can you “know me†when I don’t even know myself yet? Doesn’t make sense. I’m a very independent person and most of the time, speak my mind. Although, I do have my shy, keep to myself moments along with everyone else. I care about a lot of things and a lot of people.
A friend of mine once said to me “I have told you so much about myself, you haven't told me anything about yourselfâ€. There were reasons behind why I may not express myself as easily as others. I must say that I haven’t lived the best life and have been through a whole hell lot. From a young age my parents divorced due to abuse that was being held in the family home by my father, which has lead to a few insecurity and trust problems. With the most AMAZING friends that I have, they have all managed to help me in some way or another. I have learnt from this experience though and realised that punching someone or hitting someone over the head with a hammer isn’t always the best way to handle things. I have moved from houses to shelters back to houses throughout my childhood. I must say that moving to Quebec was one of the best things my mom and step dad have ever decided to do. I love it here. I have attended four different schools within my life and have found each of them an awesome experience.
I am a girl, a daughter, a sister, a niece, a cousin, a granddaughter, and a friend. So don’t judge me. I have been through a whole hell of a lot and I will never look down on someone for the colour of their hair, or skin, or the clothing they wear etc. I respect everyone for his or her own individuality. People, who judge others on the smallest things, really need to mature. Karma is a bitch; it’ll come back and kick those ones in the asses. I love meeting new people with different opinions from my own, it’s a great learning experience.
I’d like to go into a little bit of depth in two of a few huge things apart of my life:
Music- well it’s a huge part of my life and I love it. If I could sing, I would become a singer. I love listening to all types of music and hearing new stuff. My favourite is while listening to a song, well reading along with the lyrics, studying, and analysing them, looking for hidden messages and deeper meanings. The best type of songs written, are the ones that we relate too, it makes the songs that much more enjoyable. Friends- For starters, I love all of my friends. I would not know what do if I did not have them. They are all so different from one another and mean so much to me. I would never trade each and every single one of them in for the world. For my high school friends: I miss each and everyone of you so much because it is hard to see you guys, I know and sometimes it gets the better of us, but do remember that going to different schools and everything still won’t break us apart. I’ll always be here for you, no matter what. Love you all bunches! Vanier friends: Wow, what would I do without all of you guys? You people are the people that I see every day and I must say that spending so much time with you guys has managed to bring us all together and so much more closer. (The circle) I’m so glad that we have all met eachother even though most of you live so damn far away, but eh with a little bit of effort we still manage to see eachother. I loveee you guys!
