About Me

I like you
...you remind me of when I was young and stupid
Epitomizing the essence of simplicity, I tend to think of myself as mild-mannered, a gentleman who holds himself in high comportment with a demure nonchalance. A laid-back country boy, I've lived and traveled all over the world, better known as Houston, and whenever the opportunity for a vacation comes up; my ideal way of spending it is solo, on my own, and loving every single moment of it. Appearance is something never to judge me by, read the eyes - not the clothes nor shoes that I may wear, and perhaps you'll get a glimpse of who I really am and decide for yourself if I fit inside that perfect little world of yours.
I strive to uphold the beliefs, morals & principles instilled within that keep my head held strong amongst others. I can be the chivalrous white knight or a devil incarnate. Outgoing yet modest, free-minded yet worry-cumbersome. Whatever personality comes out of me on whichever day, remaining true to myself and being nothing but myself is what keeps my sanity intact. Lord forbid I'm gonna get caught up in all the hype and start emulating the role of what some rockstar or rapper "role model" says is best for me just because they think "that's hot."
The tragedy of life is not that it ends so soon, but that we wait so long to begin it. What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us...
If a kid asks where rain comes from, I think a cute thing to tell him is 'God is crying.' And if he asks why God is crying, another cute thing to tell him is 'Probably because of something you did.'
It is in changing that things find purpose...
Every person, all the events of your life are there because you have drawn them there. What you choose to do with them is up to you.
There's an old expression "You can't turn chicken shit into chicken salad." But, in the case of my so-called life, you can really put chicken shit in someone's chicken salad.
What makes us discontented with our condition is the absurdly exaggerated idea we have of the happiness of others.

I'd like to meet:

Twisted souls, dark imaginative minds, ardent in finding a better life in this erratic world, a person of intrigue and respectable gentry, you are the epitome of the darkness that haunts me. Anyone able to entice my curiosity and challenge my wits in a deep philosophical debate on moral, ethics & principles...or to see who can last longer in a food eating contest or drink the most shots without passing out. Able to do either and I'll think you're rather swell.

My mind is playing tricks on me

The mind can be a tricky little devil. It can determine the mood you're gonna be in for the day or what spectrum of the energetic-lazy bar you'll be on. It's like people say when you try running long-...

Mundane unproductive days with some rays of light

Hasn't been much of an exciting Spring Break so far, I've spent the week having the car tuned up while driving around in an old beat up truck where I have to shift from 3rd to 5th since the 4th gear d...
