The best way to get to know me is to talk to me. But it's likely I won't return your message for a long time, if at all. :) I've recently become addicted to facebook, so I don't really come on myspace too much any more.
For those of you who need to read something:
I just graduated from UW-Madison with a Bachelor of Science degree in Art. It makes no sense, I know. My emphasis was in Graphic Design. People keep asking me what I'm going to do with my degree, and I tell them, for the time being, that I am going to put it in a frame and hang it on my wall. I have a variety of interests, which makes me very open, balanced, and creative. Musically, I like industrial, ebm, and trance--though I enjoy all kinds of music. I am a huge fan of movies, especially sci-fi and fantasy. Yes, I am a huge nerd.
Things I "do":
I play dungeons and dragons (well OK i used to, but i miss it and wish i still played. someone start a game. immediately.)
I write. I write poetry and am writing a book. Fiction. Vampires. Exciting.
I make people laugh, even though I am generally not a "happy" person.
I grocery shop at a co-op. I recycle, I reuse, I refuse excessive packaging and all of that good neo-hippy stuff.
I prefer staying at home over going out, most of the time. Although my friends convince me to be socially active from time to time, and occasionally I enjoy myself. Usually after a lot of drinks.
I watch a lot of movies.
I make a lot of jewelry. It's a hobby. You should get one. It should be "buying Meredith's jewelry."
Things I don't "do":
I don't eat meat. Don't ask me why, or I will get pissed off at you. And maybe show you a picture of roadkill.
I don't spend every waking moment checking my myspace, like all of you fuckers. I got over that a long time ago. Because I am "old skool." Or something.
I don't have a lot of friends. Sometimes I wonder if I do that on purpose.
I don't like going to bars, though I find myself going to them quite a bit with the friends I have.
I don't like over-modded myspace profiles. I don't like feeling like I am on dialup. If your page does not load within 15 seconds, I DONT WANNA BE YOUR FRIEND.
I don't worship Satan, have ritual orgies, or offer human sacrifices, or any other rediculous notion about Wicca/Paganism. If you are one of the many out there who have such notions, feel free to click your prejudiced mouse on this.
