"Born in America, and having lived in West London (UK) for most of his life, Jamie Mortimer is a singer, songwriter and guitarist that for the last fewyears has been based between Oxford and Los Angeles. Since the age of thirteen he's had a guitar in hand, and in the past couple of years began developing his songwriting and vocal abilities."
Constantly writing, getting ideas from people and places I visit every day, I have always loved playing the guitar and trying to create music that can add characterto the lyrics I have written. The majority of the material I write is predominantly upbeat, music to get you moving with an added something that one way or another can getthe listener thinking without even knowing it. Although my indie music tastes are my predominant influence when writing, I really enjoy trying to mix together different stylesand add a different flavour to constantly changing sources of inspiration.
