18th June 2008 - Effective immediately, LiCKS:LIVE will no longer be running weekly band nights at Belushi's Hammersmith on Monday nights. We sincerely appologise to all bands and fans that this changeover will affect. We will continue to run one-off events and the Sunday night acoustic nights, and will keep you posted when more information is available! Welcome to LiCKS:LIVE, the soon to be home for fresh live music in West London. Every Monday Night, LiCKS:LIVE are the hosts of a brand new unsigned bands night at our newly kitted out and kind host venue, Belushi's in Hammersmith. With an amazing new sound system, great atmosphere and FREE entry, its the ultimate place to launch your band!
With the legendry Hammersmith Palaise no longer around (RIP), and with the Hammersmith Apollo also around the corner, we plan on filling some of the void in the music scene that its closure left behind by being the hub for unsigned bands in West London.
We're currently taking bookings for the upcoming months, so if you are looking for a new venue to play, simply follow the details below:
To Apply For A Slot At LiCKS, You Will Need The Following
- We do not take extreme bands such as hardcore, metal, hardcore punk, goth etc.
- We do not take covers bands.
- An upto date myspace account, containing demos of your bands material, a biog of the bands history, and a few photos of the band also.
- Each set is 30 mins in length, and so you will need enough material to fill that time.
