You are invited to join the adventure on the Pirate Island of Tortuga. Your day will be filled with comedy,song, fairytales, puppets and a Living Chess Match. Join soldiers and pirates on a quest for treasure through the Enchanted Forest at this one of a kind family event. Weekends May 31 - June 21 11am - 6pm
Located at the Tulip Springs area of the South Mountain Reservation, South Orange, NJ
Tickets $15 adults, $9 Senior Citizens. Children 10 and under are invited as our guests, no charge. Limit two children per adult. For more info and directions, please click the banner below.

My Interests

Starting out in Somerset, NJ, the NJ Renaissance Kingdom has grown and traveled to its current location at the South Mountain Reservation at Tulip Springs in South Orange, NJ. Just around the corner from the Turtleback Zoo, the festival runs every Saturday and Sunday from June 9-July 1 this year to bring you great shows and entertainment for an entire day! The New Jersey Renaissance Kingdom Players feature some of the most talented actors, fighters, and script writers in NJ. The festival opens at 11am and the last show is scheduled for 6pm. Come see for yourself!

Music:

The NJ Renaissance Kingdom presents period music from its three musically talented groups. Sarabande is an instumental gathering of minstrels who will beautifully play classics from the period. The Wenches and Rogues Show and The Kingdom Revelers will sing for you the lively songs of the commoners and the Revelers will also show the audience at thing or two about period dance.
