I'm full of contradictions . To start off, I tend to question what is widely accepted whereas abnormality attracts me. I think I enjoy being alone, some times too much and consider myself shy but my mates think I'm extrovert and adventurous . I was originally born in South Korea but lived in America for over 6 years, in Canada for about 5 months and currently living in U.K. (over 3 years). I have been to not a few countries ; Austria, Germany, France, Spain, Czech, Portugal, Norway, Netherlands, Italy, Taiwan, Morocco and China. So, maybe my mates are correct here. One of my favorite things to do is to paint while listening to soft classical music . I also enjoy reading books on a comfy sofa. I love stories in any form and shape. When I meet new people, I always ask what their favorite books are. So what is yours?
I enjoy laughing but my friends think I'm hideously funny . I consider myself religious but am also open-minded to almost everything including the 'possible' existence of aliens and UFO, psychic powers, and other unexplained phenomena. I just got a strong psychic message that someone is reading my profile right this moment! :)
I also enjoy learning and trying new things . I've been rightly accused of being infinitely curious , which in turn means that I'd get easily bored at times. I'm fascinated by every language on earth. When you learn a language, you get to discover the culture and lifestyle associated with the language. That is most interesting part in learning a language for me. So would you take up the challenge to teach me your language?
Someday I want to be on stages or in movies. I was an extra in the movie called, Big fish and I enjoyed the whole thing so much that I want to do it again. I have learned couple of martial arts (kook sul won and kung fu), magic tricks, and some dances. I love to learn to play a musical instrument well, to swim better, and to go for sky diving and Bungee jumping someday. Maybe you'd like to join me with these adventures? :c)
I'm a certified narcissist and habitual dietary supplements taker , e.g. multi-vitamin, Omega-3, yeah and weird oil. I'm easily fascinated by any type of beauty, especially in nature and in human mind.
I guess I'm like an onion (no, not to make you cry); there are many layers to discover. Or maybe I'd have the honor to leave a pleasant mark onto one of your life layers.
Long winded, indeed.
Thank you for your attention and interest.

My Poetry
Seed a hope in the ocean SEED A HOPE IN THE OCEAN
All over the beautiful summer earth
the Sun is sprinkling a shower of golden powder
In a dark room soaked with dead silence
only the clock is reminding its existence without rest
The phone has not rung for weeks
other than an automated psychic hot line ad in the machine
A weathered man slowly slides down from the bed
to the floor where he starts to crawl with any strength left
To a sunlight patch of a newspaper size
he drops his head abruptly, facing the Sun with his eyes shut
This warmth reminds him of the bygone times
full of hope and joy, which seems never to come again
He wishes that he could laugh loud
just once again, like a kid with missing front teeth
He manages himself back up to the coffinlike bed
with no energy to hate the life or passion to blame others
Far away the ocean is composing a pastel lullaby
for the Moon who is touching the night streets with tenderness
Now empty, the room notices the machine's cheerful voice
"Hi myself. Remember, no cause not to be!"
Yet still and again YET STILL AND AGAIN
Four of blue moons have blossomed
since our last goodbye was whispered;
long enough for water drops
to carve a deep scar on a cavern rock.
Your memory is a screeching beast
with its fangs deep on my head.
Your voice is a narcotic desire
with its talons heavy on my chest.
Loved I with the heart of a boy
who tirelessly waves at passenger trains.
Loved me with the spirit of a girl
who carefully presses wild flowers.
More endurable is tearing birth pain
than the craving for your gentle caress.
Echoed back is staring cruel silence
when you are just a letter of three words away.
Upon the moon a wish is made
to greet again as acquainted strangers.
Upon the wind a hope is placed
to meet again to overflow with passion.
If I die IF I DIE
Not long after,
Wishes made for nothing
Secrets treasured by nobody
Surprises hid under nowhere
'cause Fate's heart will beat no further.
The moment before,
Straying one's resolve, scarcely trivial
True appreciations, rarely offered
Heartless ones, hardly begged off
'cause Justice weighed less than light.
Before too late,
Speak out everything you ever mean
Never intend anything over twice
Remember something more precious
'cause Time ticks its hands anyhow.
After that,
As first foretold by the unknown and forgotten
I, however, never uttered often enough
Chisel on my headstone 'died of love',
the kind of Love that never was; ever be told.
Dying to dream together DYING TO DREAM TOGETHER
Without seven myths,
I was born in a white hospital room.
Every night spurious dreams visit me
most of which are gone from me at each dawning.
A sip of coffee starts me up.
At work I learn to pass another day.
Soft lager gets me moving.
Again, I sleep alone only to lose more dreams.
I know I have to catch up with death someday
to break this absent-minded routine
thanking that I don't have nine lives to endure.
With seven brothers,
you were born in a pour small village.
Every night curious dreams visit you
some of which stay with you until each morning.
A bite of an apple wakes you up.
At home you learn to cook another way.
Soap operas gets you going.
Again, you sleep alone only to muse more dreams.
You know you need to catch up with death one day
to break the stone-hardened hearts
thanking that you won't have nine enemies to endure.
Every night spurious dreams visit me,
every night curious dreams visit you.
Most of which are gone from me at each dawning,
some of which stay with you until each morning.
At work I learn to pass another day,
at home you learn to cook another way.
Our kids get us living.
Again, we sleep together but dream apart.
We know death will catch us up for a surprise
only to break this human bondage
thanking that we still have divine memories that endure.
