ZOM and T-Mitch heard of each other's flow back in 1997, and finally met in 1998 through a mutual friend. Both MC's had a street buzz for yo a$$. Every time the word rap was mentioned, either ZOM, or T-Mitch's name would follow the conversation. Their first recordings were from Karyoke, and 4 track recorders. In 2000 they upgraded to 8 tracks, and recorded at least 3 albums with producer Kaleem El-Amein (Phropeht). These songs were never released; however, their far from being dead. In 2003 Unda Commercial Grounds Ent. (UCG) became the official indie publisher for the two MC's. UCG dropped it's first CD on April 1st 2004, titled "Heavy Rotation Compilation". This CD included a host of local artist who were eager to get their sounds heard. After pushing over 2000 units from the trunks of their cars, ZOM and T-Mitch decided to shift gears again. Going from a group of about 12 individuals, T-Mitch & ZOM narrowed it down to two MC's...themselves. They formed the group Down South Disciples, and started working on a duo project titled "Raised in the South".
