Myspace Extended Network BannersI am originally from California and have lived in Oklahoma for 13 years. I have 3 beautiful children and 3 grandchildren (with 1 grandchild on the way) who are my life. I am a Christian lady and love the Lord with all my heart. I am NOT on this site for a dating service but only to meet friends.Philippians 4:13I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. The road to success is not straight. There is a curve called Failure, a loop called Confusion, speed bumps called Friends, red lights called Enemies, caution lights called Family. You will have flats called Jobs. But, if you have a spare called Determination, an engine called Perserverance, insurance called Faith, a driver called Jesus, you will make it to a place called Success!

My Interests

I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for HE HAS clothed me with the garments of salvation, HE HAS covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. (Isa 61:10 KJVR)

GuidanceWhen I meditated on the word guidance, I kept seeing "dance" at the end of the word. I remember reading that doing God's will is a lot like dancing. When two people try to lead, nothing feels right. The movement doesn't flow with the music, and everything is quite uncomfortable and jerky. When one person realizes and lets the other lead, both bodies begin to flow with the music. One gives gentle cues, perhaps with a nudge to the back or by pressing lightly in one direction or another. It's as if two become one body, moving beautifully. The dance takes surrender, willingness, and attentiveness from one person and gentle guidance and skill from the other. My eyes drew back to the word guidance. When I saw "G", I thought of God, followed by "u" and "i". God, "u" and "i" dance". God, you, and I dance. This statement is what guidance means to me. As I lowered my head, I became willing to trust that I would get guidance about my life.Once again, I became willing to let God lead.Thank you Dr. Tim for these words!NUTS: Now the doings (practices) of the flesh are clear (obvious): they are immorality, impurity, indecency, Idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, anger (ill temper), selfishness, divisions (dissensions), party spirit (factions, sects with peculiar opinions, heresies), Envy, drunkenness, carousing, and the like. I warn you beforehand, just as I did previously, that those who do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. (Gal 5:19-21)FRUIT: But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness, Gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law [that can bring a charge]. (Gal 5:22-23)"I am the vine, and you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will bear much fruit; for you can do nothing without me. (Joh 15:5)My Father's glory is shown by your bearing much fruit; and in this way you become my disciples. (Joh 15:8)
