Betty Steeles is hailing from the top of brixton hill and has recently taking to touring the commons venues and parks of london town,Once upon a time she was sitting in her bedroom writing tunes and things on her crappy keyboard and not so crappy guitar (well), and a bright idea came to her , she thought bright spark i really enjoy doing this shit! lets take it to the streets, so she played on clapham common where people were happy to listen to her tinkling away, and recently she won tickets to play at reading festival last month after playing in the shop window of hmv a nokia sponsored event where you just rocked up and played . An amazing reaction from the crowd considering it was such a rocky event after playing a steeles version of bill withers aint no sunshine.. she had crowds singing and swaying along!! wooh !wooh! and many venues were soon to follow such as The Embassy Rooms , islington and Monkeychews, camden in conjucntion with earmusic.com , Babalou Bar in brixton, and recently has collaborated with british hip hop artists and producers Lawds and Mr Clutch who she met whilst singing for dj thatguykhy on playvybes internet radio show, they have since collaboratated on a song called Tigerman on lawds and mr clutche,s newly released album partnership of sound on www.eplays.com its rocks! its rockin! come ...so listen to her acoustic led sound with sweet melodys with dark undertones and sometimes unusal storylines be led away.
