About Me

( I'm a momma and wife, and I love it more than anything in the world. Since I've been a mom for 13 years, it's hard to remember the me before kids. However, I do remember a few things. I grew up in Ohio, worked at Cedar Point for 4 years,then moved to Los Angeles. Because I love to travel and live in different places, I then moved to Grand Cayman Island and Nashville. Somehow I ended up in Arkansas. Not quite the islands, but a nice place to raise a family.I love to read, watch sports, and hang out with my friends and family. Both my boys play basketball, and I love to watch them. It is so fun having boys.I guess I would consider myself to be an outspoken person when it comes to alternative education, politics, and freethought.

My Interests

My children are my main interest. I also love sports (Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Browns, Ohio State, Arkansas, Sacramento Kings). I'm interested in politics, freethought, women's rights, community service, and education. I love to dance but don't get many opportunities anymore.

Music:

I like all kinds of music. DAUGHTRY is my fave, and I also like Red Hot Chili Peppers, U2, White Stripes, Natalie Merchant, James Blunt, Gem, Dixie Chicks. I can always listen to Prince. I listen to hip hop a lot because my boys won't let me listen to my music. Back in the old days, I went through every music phase; rock, country, techno, etc., I loved Howard Jones, The Cars, Ratt, Prince, Lionel Richie, Doug Stone, Garth Brooks, AC/DC.

Movies:

Cider House Rules, The Notebook (the best!), A Star is Born, Chocolat, Legends of the Fall, A Beautiful Mind, Crash, Shut Up and Sing - just saw it and loved it! I like movies that make me think, and have a strong message.

Television:

The Daily Show, Colbert Report, C.S.I., House, American Idol, Sports (Cavs & Browns), So You Think You Can Dance, Law & Order, Bill Maher

Books:

I'm a big book fan. I love to read everything. Sam Harris is my favorite author at the time. I like to read Al Franken, Jon Stewart, and Bill Maher books.
