About Me

I am a grad student/ freelance costume designer. I am married, and living in San Diego. I have too many orchids and carnivorous plants, not enough time in my day and my back currently hurts. That all being said, I am pretty decently interesting on most days.In other words, I am not around much but if you catch me, I can be entertaining in sortof a dancing bear kindof way.Also- I keep regravitating to the goth scene no matter how hard I try to avoid it.

My Interests

Books, Theatre, Zombies, Art, Film, crochet, wierd crafting projects, plants, animals, photography, the usual crap, ninjas, robots, monkeys, flying weasels.

I'd like to meet:

Mostly I am hoping to find people I have known in my life that I have lost touch with. I wouldn't mind having a handfull of nice girlfriends down here in SD while I am at school to round out my group of friends a little, but I don't know how realistic that is.I am not interested in meeting people to date or any of that, I just occasionally need to get out of the building and do something different.

Music:

jazz, goth, industrial, opera, dolly parton, mostly anything really. Clicks and whirrs are good too.

Movies:

Ghostbusters, Wim Winders(any), Bringing up Baby, most hitchcock, Japanese horror films, Stephen Chow movies, more stuff too...

Television:

Project Runway, Lost, Farscape, Battlestar Galactica, The L Word, more to come

Books:

I cant really come up with a good list, but I can pick out some authors I love: Gwynneth Jones, Phillip K. Dick, Ursula K. Leguin, George R.R. Martin, Sarah Vowell, David Sedaris, Virginia Woolf. Jennifer Wiener And many more....

Heroes:

Edith Head, She Hulk, Artemesia Genteleschi, most of the chicks around me.
