Books. Usually the free ones you can get off of Craigs List. Music, Art (all kinds, metal, paintings and wood work) Even though I have been accused of being a Philistine. Favorite Painters are Monet and Renoir. Favorite Poet is Langton Hughs. Favorite photographer Lindsey Yeo (but she pays me to say that)http://www.lindseyyeo.com/home.html
Barack Obama, J.D. Salinger, Haruki Murakami, Brett Easton Ellis, and Kwame Kilpatrick.
Bad Religion, Weezer, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Ben Lee, Alkaline Trio, Lucero, Drag the River, All, Jimmy Eat World, The Good Life, Songs Ohia, Explosions in the Sky, Guns N Roses, Fugazi, Avail, Damien Rice, Ben Lee, Jebediah, The Ataris, Avoid One Thing and a bunch more that I can't think of or spell
I like movies that compliment the book.
Law and Order, Dawson's Creek, Hero's (don't ask), 90210 (Dillon Mckay is a Prophet for his generation), and Scrubs (gotta love Dr. Cox
(authors) Hemingway, Fitzgerald, Murakami (Haruki and Ryu), Banks, Orwell, Kevin Sampsell, Nic Kelman, Matt Johnson, Bukowski, Salinger, Tennesse Williams...You get the idea.
Kwame Kilpatrick, George Orwell, and Michael Dunwoody. Kwame because he amazes me every day. He holds together a city that is ready to fall apart at any moment. Orwell because he is the only author that I know that can write in several different genere's and at several different reading levels. Everyone, I mean everyone in the world has read a book by George Orwell. They just might not know it. And Michael Dunwoody because he was the first person to tell me the truth...I am a Philistine.
