About Me

Quotes
"The most underappreciated DJ in Little Rock." - DJ Weswood
"Business before pleasure, because it pays all the bills, unless pleasure is your business, then enjoy all your thrills." - MySelf
"The ability to recognize your own importance, without the streak of common vanity, will eventually lead to a tremendous triumph." - MySelf
"It's not a matter of not being able to obtain the things that I want, it's the fact that I can't decide exactly what I want, and how to keep it." - MySelf
"No longer is it an issue of achieving great things, it's the ability to expose oneself to all the opportunities that present ideas previously unknown, and then striving to obtain them." - MySelf
"You have an ability to pull my heartstrings, and the ability to get me to perform in a very unbecoming manner, and I do not wish to have any consequence to actions performed out of the unlikely event of a badly plucked string." - MySelf
"I say the word 'ability' a lot. I should let my friend Abel know about this." - MySelf
Spent the past few years putting together a hopefully successful DJing career, mainly in the field of Drum and Bass. Co-Founder of "Believe Productions" here in Little Rock, Arkansas. We put on live DJ shows as much as we can that highlight a majority of the remaining Techno Scene in the area. In my spare time I enjoy the greatest that life can offer me. Photography, film, music, art, writing, and life.

My Interests

DJing and working hard to get Believe Productions on the map! http://www.myspace.com/believeproductions .

Photography, art, time, space, music, writing, love, living.

I'd like to meet:

I like to meet people who change my life, for better or worse. I'm up to almost anything right now, dealing with the ins and outs of what I've been offered, and if I wasn't surrounded by people who constantly allow me to live, then I wouldn't be alive in the first place.

Music:

Drum and Bass for the MASSES! Also I was raised on 311, jazz, blues, I'll admit that I like Coldplay, Miles Davis, Soundtracks to great movies that have made me cry, Ben Sage, John B, Red Hot Chili Peppers, myself, V.A.S.T., James Brown, Ella Fitzgerald, Pete Yorn, RadioHead, Messinian, Kanye West, Frou Frou, Timbaland, Elton John, Rolling Stones, U2, Common, and plenty more...that's just what I can think of right now.If you're not well rounded in music, then there's no point in appreciating where sound comes from.

Movies:

Garden State, Lost in Translation, High Fidelity, Star Wars Sextology, Back to the Future Trilogy, Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, Sideways, anything created by Micheal Gondry....

Television:

Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations, Nip/Tuck, The Riches, Rob and Big, Family Guy,

Books:

Anything by Nick Hornby. High Fidelity, A Long Way Down, "How to Be Good", "About A Boy", "Songbook", etc. I also enjoyed "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time" by Mark Haddon, and I'm also trying to read his latest book..."A Spot of Bother". "A Blessing on the Moon" by Joseph Skibell, anything by John Gallaher. Chuck Palahniuk books, Irvine Welsh books, and obviously Wordsworth, Thoreau, Emerson.....there's a lot more

Heroes:

My parents for their constant support in almost anything I choose to put my mind to or let go, my sister for her eternal spirit, my best pals Stephanie and Omar for their constant support that my parents and family wouldn't give me :) Keith for his always kind words and fiery persistance to make Little Rock a better EDM community. Oh, and Gena. You did change me. And however you want to take this - Thank You."

Twenty Nine

Do you think you can take over the universe and improve it? I do not believe it can be done.   The universe is sacred. You cannot improve it. If you try to change it, you will ruin it. If you try...

Have you ever heard a song that makes you want to cry? Have you ever felt a gust of wind that made you want to die?   Then why discriminate against those who study flavor? Why not take the time t...

My Birthday

It's weird. I took the day off for my birthday, and I've sorta just been laying around the house doing nothing. And then it freaked me out. Today, laying around half naked watching a bunch of TV with ...

I have a lot to say about my last blog, but currently the mix of Cabernet and NyQuil have brought me to just a few short conclusions that will help build my thoughts into something more concrete. &nbs...
