Two tears in a bucket...f**k it

About Me

I am a true Gemini. You can't keep me in one place. I jump around from place to place, meet cool people, see awesome things, and experiences that will stick with me forever. I love to travel, and I live for music! Maybe that's why having a good CD player in my car is so important. I live in Gainesville, Florida, and I hate it!!! The close minded bastards drive me up the wall. I can't wait to get back out West. This town is like the land of the dead for me. Enough of that...I love to meet new people. There is so much knowledge out there, and talking to others seems to be the most interesting way to gain it. Hmm, I ramble apparently, about nothing important. I have the most wonderful kid ever in the world! She has so much personality for such a little kid. I can't wait to see what she accomplishes (so many possibilities).I am currently going to school to be a teacher. Haven't decided what grade level yet. I may start with elementary and work my way up to High School Science. I love science, and math, and english...dammit...I don't know what I like more. But I can't wait, after volunteering this semester at an elementary school, I know I chose the right profession for me!

You Are Kermit
Hi, ho! Lovable and friendly, you get along well with everyone you know.
You're a big thinker, and sometimes you over think life's problems.
Don't worry - everyone know's it's not easy being green.
Just remember, time's fun when you're having flies! The Muppet Personality Test

My Interests

Lot's of stuff...depends on my mood. I really, really, love to travel, well, drive. Driving is my therapy. Who needs to pay $100 for someone to listen to me bitch. I'd rather spend that on those high gas prices. I just took a spur of the moment road trip to DC. So much fun, but next time I won't go alone. It's nice to have someone to talk to about the things you see (I need Kiki back, she is my road trip buddy and she moved :( .) I have a goal to travel to all 50 states before I die. I have hit 25 now, and I'm 25 years old...not a bad track record. I also love to take pictures of random things. Scenery/nature is my favorite thing to photograph (I have this weird thing for dead trees lately, what's that all about?). I guess lately an interest of mine has been working out. I have am an incredible shrinking woman! I've lost 60lbs (and still going). I feel great, and it's the first time in my life that I don't feel so self-conscious. Right now most of my time is consumed by my daughter and school...

I'd like to meet:

Someone, anyone, who really has it figured out.....maybe that's asking too much!
You've Experienced 76% of Life
You have all of the life experience that most adults will ever get.
And unless you're already in your 40s, you're probably wise beyond your years. How Much Life Experience Do You Have?..

Music:

I don't think that I could list everything if I tried. Lately I have been listening to more alternative stuff. I just won tickets to the Red Hot Chili Peppers thanks to 100.5 the Buzz---best radio station in gainesville, /FL. (no offense Pacman) I am totally stoked about that! I have always been a huge fan of Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Cranberries, Sheryl Crow, Dave Matthews Band, Primus, and I'm sure I'll think of some others eventually, maybe I'll add them here, but that's a good start.
Your Theme Song is Back in Black by AC/DC
"Back in black, I hit the sack,
I've been too long, I'm glad to be back"

Things sometimes get really crazy for you, and sometimes you have to get away from all the chaos.
But each time you stage your comeback, it's even better than the last! What's Your Theme Song?

Movies:

I have been a Kubrick fan for years (may he rest in peace), anything Tim Burton has even sneezed on is wonderful. I like movies that are intellectual, unusual, and even dark...but movies are movies, I'll watch anything once.
You Are From Pluto
You are a dark, mysterious soul, full of magic and the secrets of the universe.
You can get the scoop on anything, but you keep your own secrets locked in your heart.
You love change and you use it to your advantage, whether by choice or chance.
You don't like to compromise, to the point of being self-destructive with your stubborness.
Live life with love, and your deep powers will open the world to you. What Planet Are You From?

Television:

Thanks to not having cable...what's tv again...All I get to watch anymore is PBS.
You Have a Choleric Temperament
You are a person of great enthusiasm - easily excited by many things.
Unsatisfied by the ordinary, you are reaching for an epic, extraordinary life.
You want the best. The best life. The best love. The best reputation.

You posses a sharp and keen intellect. Your mind is your primary weapon.
Strong willed, nothing can keep you down. Your energy can break down any wall.
You're an instantly passionate person - and this passion gives you an intoxicating power over others.

At your worst, you are a narcissist. Full of yourself and even proud of your faults.
Stubborn and opinionated, you know what you think is right. End of discussion.
A bit of a misanthrope, you often see others as weak, ignorant, and inferior. What Temperment Are You?

Books:

I read books that take me out of reality for a while...I was always good at spacing out though. I have been reading more poetry and short stories lately. I have even been more compelled to write poetry recently (I just received word that I am being published again!) I also like books that are written by famous people about all the screwed up shit they've seen or been through. It may sound morbid, but it's just one of those people studies for me. I am just trying to figure out what people are all about, and what makes them act and react the way they do. I am almost finished with Anthony Keidis' book, Scar Tissue. Damn...I mean, damn. Amazing book! If you have any interest in the dark, unusual, and incredibly entertaining inside of an amazing bands' existence, this is a good book to read.
Your Driving Is is: 64% Male, 36% Female
According to studies, you generally drive like a typical male.
You're confident in your driving skills, and hardly any situation gets the better of you.
And while you may have a few tickets under your belt, you're still a very good driver. Do You Drive Like a Guy or a Girl?

Heroes:

My third grade teacher, Mrs. Koelsch. She was not only a great teacher, but one of the only truly genuine people I have ever met...

What's wrong with North Floridians

What is wrong with the people in North Florida? I have always heard that people are "backword" in the South and thought it was silly. But holy crap, they really are backward around here. No one see...
