About Me

Shameless Self Promotions supports and promotes local music and venues. Rocko is a long time Alameda Musician and music lover who was a member of The Hole in the Wall Band and booked shows at many Bay Area and National clubs, organized benefits for Toys For Tots and Alameda Homeless Shelter and Boys Club. His niece Dani was raised by her uncle to be a music lover as well and assists Rocko in his goal to promote local music and venues with Shameless Self Promotions. Recently they promoted local Blues/Jazz piano player Dave Krull and new CD release in St. Louis (his home town). Shameless accompanied Dave to promote and sell merchandise as well as build national contact base. Also, promoted Alameda local Clara Bellino's new cd "Embarcadaro Love" at the Cafe Du Nord and hosted Rocko's 50th birthday bash at Rooster's Roadhouse in Alameda which featured appearances by Dave Krull, Drew Harrison, Dean Allen, Patrick McKenna and Tom "Fee" Filetti as well as Rocko himself. Shameless Self Promotions has also hosted Toys For Tots 2005 benefit at Speisekamer Restaurant in Alameda. It's about supporting local music and making the scene grow!!! Rocko also contributes to promoting local music by doing cd reviews for Music Scene Magazine.
